Soft-tissue impaction - When the crown of the tooth is covered by the soft tissue (gum tissue), but not erupted into the mouth. Implants - Implants are a method of replacing missing teeth whereby a titanium base is placed in the space in the jaw where the teeth are missing. After an appropriate healing period, the titanium base is then uncovered and a prosthetic tooth or teeth is then fabricated.
