Preventing Excess Perspiration

Hyperhidrosis is a common condition which involves excessive sweating. Some people find this embarrassing as it can leave obvious marks on clothing – but this can be treated with Botulinum toxin.

WHAT DOES TREATMENT INVOLVE?

The treatment involves small injections of Botulinum toxin into the surface of the armpit. This results in blockage of the signal that usually stimulates the sweat glands. The effects
last anywhere from 6 to 24 months.
